With the Winter Olympics just around the corner we thought it appropriate to take a look at a very inappropriate sex comedy that also happens to have a little skiing in it.
Troy took one for the team and pulled a 6-minute synapses out of his butt.
Having seen this film in high school, both Dave and Pete should be ashamed of themselves.
Four new microphones help the cast sound their best ever. Too bad the movie makes us all want to cry.
Featured breweries: Fatheads and Columbus Brewing Company
Blame falls squarely on the Spooky Pinball Podcast for our review of Jack Frost. Thanks guys but please don’t do us any more favors.
Pete abused this month’s beer to the point where it was as bad as the movie. Our humblest of apologizes to the Hoppin’ Frog Brewery. We will do this again.
The Instagram account has a hilarious video of us pouring out the slush beer. I’m so ashamed of myself.
The wise cracking killer ship had sailed by 1997 and left Jack Frost behind on shore. I really wish they had taken Jack with them.
-Due to some technical issues we resorted to use a backup recording and it’s obviously MUCH closer to Kathleen and Troy. Sorry folks, I promise to do better next time.
-An inordinate amount of Monty Python references due to the gang just having seen John Cleese present “The Holy Grail” at the Ohio Theatre.
-We go off topic and talk a little about the new It film.
To celebrate his birthday, Troy chose the 1986 Lucasfilm production Howard the Duck. Along with this turd of a film Troy also brought a beer that tipped the ABV scale at 10% and it shows as the podcast quickly descends into drunken madness.
Episode 4 and it’s Kathleen’s first day so it her fault we had to watch this stinker from 1976. Burt Reynolds’ directorial debut and sequel to White Lightning; Gator.
Kathleen also thought it would be a good idea to bring some moonshine along with a couple of beers. Thanks for nothing, Kathleen.
We also debut a new opener by the Tortilla Street Band. TSB’s motto: “The more you drink, the better we sound.” Unfortunately the band got to the beer first and…well….you can let us know what you think.
In this Giant-Sized Episode of GBBMN, we welcome our first guest host Jodi to the podcast as our eyeballs ingest Toho’s 1969 Latitude Zero.
The Toho Kaiju Trifecta as director Ishiro Honda, special effects master Eji Tsuburaya and renowned composer Akira Ifukube team up for the last time in this very weird Scifi/Fantasy. Leading man Akira Takarada make his English speaking debut and Jodi tells an embarrassing story about Pete meeting Takarada-san at G-Fest last year.
We will vertical Fifty Foot Brewery’s Diaweizen that made the trip to G-Fest this year and Hitachino Nest White Ale and compare the two wheat beers.
Disclaimer: I had some audio mishaps at the beginning of the episode and I had to re-record the opening. Apologizes for the weirdness.
With a few audio flubs and a dog that was super thirsty make our first podcast a bit rough. I promise we’ll get better.
Starring Patricia Quinn, William Morgan Sheppard, and Jack FREAKIN’ Palance!
